Welcome to Troop 815, the oldest Boy Scout Troop in Danville. We have produced over 100 Eagle Scouts since we were chartered, in 1969. We give young men the opportunity to develop leadership skills while contributing to the local community and having a great time in the outdoors.

Backpacking, camping, sailing, hiking, and biking and much more are all part of our exciting outdoor program, with age appropriate activities for everyone. Check us out today!

50Miler.com is a great blog resource for backpacking and high adventure.  Learn about navigation, food, nutrition, water purification, cat holes, bears, and much more.  You can easily get immersed in this site, reading tons of interesting articles and stories.  Grab a coke or a cup of coffee and head over there now.

Webelos Night this year was a great success.  Our Troop hosted visiting Webelos Scouts, providing activities and snacks.  There was a "Half Dome" competition that included Webelos Scouts pitching a tent blindfolded, outdoor cooking, chariot racing, and a fun introduction to First Aid, with a realistic car accident scenario.  The Boy Scouts had just as much fun as the Webelos, and we look forward to many of them joining our Troop soon.
